Thoughts...

I realise that knowing someone for the longest of time does not necessitate me knowing what truly goes on in his mind. You can know someone for years, yet at the end of it you don't know him at all. You can sleep with a person every night for decades, and in the end realise that you don't know what ticks inside him. Or sometimes you think you know the person, but your assumptions are flawed, or completely erroneous. You can be with a person, but never be with him at all. A sobering thought.

It's 2009

It's the new year 2009, and two days ago was the Islamic New Year. I have only very simple wishes this year:

1. For happiness, peace, and health for my family and I

2. For the economy to be okay

3. For me to be more positive, and see the good in everything

They are simple, but I think they are hard to achieve. But I have to start being positive, and say that they can be achieved. :)
